What does it mean to be a lifetime member of MRBC?
You pay: one-time suggested donation of $15 (Mt Rainier residents) or $20 (non-residents); this is a per-person donation, but youth under 18 are free! If this is a financial burden, you can pay your membership dues in the form of 4 hours of volunteering.
You get: a membership card, a free sticker, free use of the shop, discounts on bike parts, use of the listserve, notification of group rides, classes, and events (and first dibs when there is a sign-up).
Members are expected to do one of the following at least once every three months:
volunteer at the co-op during open hours
participate in a trail-clean-up
assist in chaperoning a ride for kids
participate in any MRBC-sponsored fundraiser or other activity
Your volunteer hours/activities will be recorded in a membership binder kept in the Co-op.
You can join the listserve without committing to MRBC membership--just
Join MRBC today!
